Wood floors, like the tree they were created from, vary in patterns and color. So, remember that your floor will vary from the samples you have seen. Expect beautiful and natural variations. All natural wood will undergo a color change due to the effects of sunlight. When making your wood selection, please keep in mind that most wood will acquire a more golden color. Cherry, Merbau and Iroko are the quickest to darken when exposed to sunlight, developing a deep, rich color.

Even the hardest wood will dent and scratch if proper care is not taken. Keep your wood floor clear of sand and grit by sweeping frequently. To keep yours floors beautiful for years, clean them as recommended by the manufacturer.

For more information on wood floors, we invite you to visit our Showroom and Design Center where you can see various hardwoods displayed in vignettes and our sales professionals can answer all your questions.
