History:

Cascade Flooring America first opened its doors on August 3rd, 1978 when Cindy Severson realized that she could offer both better service and lower prices than the other flooring stores. Cindy knew that customers should never have to choose between value and service. That is why, 33 years later, many of her original customers are still buying from Cascade Flooring America. Only now, her customers are not limited to flooring, they can also purchase slab countertops and Hunter Douglas window treatments, feeling confident that they will receive the same level of boutique service at value pricing that they've come to expect.

Cindy established the business with only a desk, five carpet sample books, and a crib for her toddler, Sunny. She sub-let an office from Cascade Stationery and, needing a name for her business, she chose the obvious: Cascade Carpet.

Cindy’s determination to provide excellent customer service brought continued growth, and in 1988 Cascade moved to downtown Vancouver. Sunny grew up to become a respected and successful sales consultant and by going to job sites with installers, he learned the basics of installation, developing his vast knowledge of the business.

In 1993, Cascade Carpet joined a nation-wide buying group, now known as Flooring America, to gain the buying power of a 600 store co-op. Cascade Carpet became Cascade Flooring America, LLC.

Wanting to keep her focus on providing personal care for Cascade’s customers, in 2003, Cindy made Sunny a partner in the business. Their combination of experiences, together with their respect for customers and employees, resulted in the need to build their State-of-the-Art Showroom in Hazel Dell.

From its humble beginnings to its current standing as the largest showroom in Clark County, Cascade Flooring America, LLC is proof of how a commitment to a dream and fellowship with a community can profit everyone.

Cascade Flooring America, LLC provides professional installation for all of the products that we sell: vinyl, carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate floors, solid surface granite and marble and window treatments. We even have a full-service design center where our certified staff can assist you in achieving the look you desire.
