Owner/Sales
Cindy started this company in 1978 with little more than a knowledge of the industry (from an installation point of view), a small corner in a stationery store for her office, and a huge desire to make her customers’ homes beautiful for a reasonable price. One of her greatest talents lies in taking the existing along with the new and pulling everything together. Her number one goal has always been to make sure her customers are happy.
Family is one of Cindy’s greatest joys. You can see the happiness in her eyes when she is surrounded with kids, grand kids and a gaggle of pets.
Owner/Managing Partner
Sunny literally grew up in this industry. His apprenticeship started at the tender age of two when he went out on a carpet installation with Cindy, his mother. Growing up, he spent most of his summers working in the family business. When Sunny was nineteen, he decided to devote 100% of his focus to the floor covering business to see what would happen. As it turned out, Sunny became Cascade’s top sales associate after a year or so. He continued to work very hard to learn every aspect of the business and joined his mother as a partner in the business in 2002.
Sunny also takes great joy in his family and loves to travel and camp with them. He also enjoys scuba diving, baseball, skydiving and the occasional hand of Texas Hold’em.
Alicia assists Cindy Severson and became acquainted with the flooring industry over 9 years ago when she married one of our best installers.
She enjoys spending time with her husband & three kids and in her free time she keeps extremely busy when she’s not working with her two dogs, and their chickens. She also loves hiking around all the beautiful trails the PNW has to offer!

Kenny has been immersed in the flooring industry from day one. As the son of owner Cindy Severson and brother of co-owner Sunny Parsons, he grew up with a deep understanding of the business. He began his career in flooring installation while still in high school.
By 2025, he transitioned to sales, bringing his real-world knowledge and experience to both residential and commercial clients. He takes pride in delivering top-tier customer service and values time with his wife Caitlin and their children.
Caitlin is Cindy Severson’s assistant and her daughter-in-law. Her attention to detail has served her well while assisting Cindy. Surrounded by flooring experts, she brings a strong family-driven approach to the business.
Her biggest joy is having her kids around, bringing the family atmosphere alive at Cascade Flooring America.
Cindy joined the Cascade Family in 2010 and works as part of the builder team as an administrative assistant. She enjoys helping jobs run as smoothly as possible behind the scenes.
She loves spending time with her husband and daughters, whether camping, traveling, or relaxing at home.
Jeff joined Cascade Flooring America in 2014 and quickly became a certified flooring consultant. He focuses on helping customers bring their vision to life in a fun and stress-free way.
His motto is “taking the boring out of flooring.” In his free time, he enjoys family, rock climbing, backpacking, and brewing beer.
Jewels has been with Cascade Flooring America for over a decade, working alongside her father in both builder and retail flooring. She brings positivity and a customer-first mindset to every project.
She enjoys time with her family, baking, reading, and traveling—especially to the Caribbean.
Katy joined in 2004 and transitioned from bookkeeping into design and sales. She has continued her education in decorating and product knowledge and is a Hunter Douglas® certified assistant.
She helps clients select the perfect flooring, window treatments, and countertops.
Karen has nearly 25 years in the industry and brings deep knowledge across many aspects of flooring. She now supports the office team with her expertise.
She enjoys decorating and surrounding herself with family photos and art.
Kevan joined in 2013 and worked in both warehouse and installation before transitioning to sales. He brings valuable hands-on experience to customers.
He enjoys family time and has trained in mixed martial arts.
A veteran since the 80s, Lynn is known for exceptional customer service—even making emergency deliveries to keep jobs on track.
He enjoys golf, bowling, and spending time supporting his kids’ activities.
Ross grew up in the flooring industry and later pursued music before returning to the business. He now enjoys building relationships with customers.
He spends his free time building, playing music, and with his daughters.
Russ joined in 2017 bringing experience from another Flooring America location. He enjoys helping customers and sharing his passion for art.
He values time with his growing family, including his grandson.
Shannon brings strong product knowledge and design insight to every project. She has held multiple roles, building well-rounded expertise.
She enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.
Shawn works closely with builder clients, bringing technical expertise and attention to detail. His background includes both flooring and finance.
He enjoys golf, poker, and sports in his free time.
Susan Helmer is a native of the Pacific Northwest. Her background as a mortgage coordinator and her love for math made her a perfect fit for the bookkeeping department.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening and reading. Her greatest joy is her family—her husband and two sons.
Cherynnia is the Director of First Impressions at the main showroom. She completed five-star sales certification and enjoys helping clients find products that fit their lifestyle.
She is highly task-oriented, loves meeting new people, and stays active with her children’s school activities and coaching sports.
Jaimie is part of the Cascade Flooring America family in more ways than one, as the wife of co-owner Sunny Parsons. She previously worked in bookkeeping before focusing on family.
She enjoys traveling, camping, sports, marathons, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Dan Zherebnenko grew up in the flooring industry and has mastered the art of hard surface installations. As the oldest of five siblings, he developed a strong work ethic early on.
He enjoys spending time with his son and, in his free time, loves being out on the river with wave runners and traveling to warm destinations.
Jay moved to Vancouver in 2001 and began his flooring career after graduating from Skyview High School. He apprenticed as a carpet installer and has developed a passion for installing carpet and vinyl.
Jay considers flooring a lifelong career. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, along with hobbies like dirt biking and poker.
Matt gained early experience working with a local installation business before joining Cascade in 2010. He is dedicated to ensuring every project meets high-quality standards.
Outside of work, he enjoys home improvement projects, riding his quad, golfing, and spending time with his wife.
Scott has over 25 years of experience in flooring and is known for his attention to detail and commitment to perfection. His expertise spans carpet, tile, stone, wood, vinyl, laminate, and countertops.
He enjoys camping, rock collecting, and spending time outdoors with his large family, including his grandchildren.
Tyreena joined the team in 2009 with over a decade of experience in fabrication and installation. She thrives on problem-solving and delivering high-quality results.
She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
Tom has nearly three decades of experience in the flooring industry, specializing in carpet installation while also working with vinyl and laminate. He is also heavily involved in training new installers.
In his free time, he enjoys metal detecting and collecting unique treasures, along with spending time outdoors.
Debbie Haasl-Hall, our warehouse manager, has been involved in the floor covering business since childhood and brings a lifetime of experience to the role.
She enjoys spending time with her family, including her children and grandchildren, and loves to travel.
Frank joined the team in 2009 with over 20 years of experience and had previously worked with Cascade as a subcontractor for many years. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality results on every project.
He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, watching NASCAR, and playing golf when he can.
Marcus joined the warehouse team over three years ago and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the workplace.
He enjoys hunting, hiking, shooting, and spending time with his family, including his wife and two sons.
